Throughout our 40-year history, Independent Health has long had a clear sense of priorities for our community. The obstacles presented over the past year haven’t changed our mission, but have only brought it into sharper focus. Our 2020 Report to the Community – Health and Hope Grow Here - highlights the power of collaboration and community as we help people get and stay healthy.

Community Benefit Report
We believe everyone deserves to live their healthiest life and creating opportunities for a healthier life is central to our mission. Through numerous contributions and corporate sponsorships, Independent Health contributed more than $25 million in 2020 to improve the health and well-being of our greater community, including significant dollars earmarked for underserved and at-risk populations.
As part of our support, throughout 2020 Independent Health provided in-kind community benefit investments, including volunteer service of our associates and other corporate resources such as: distributing COVID safety protocol signage and supplies (masks, hand sanitizers and gloves) to our community partners and tote bags to local pantries as they provided free fresh food to vulnerable people to combat food insecurity.
Independent Health’s Community Benefit Report provides and overview of these and other activities throughout 2020.
