Things to consider:
- There are three plans for you to choose from:
POS (High Option) – This plan is right for you if you want the comfort and convenience of predictable copays for things like doctor's office visits, with the flexibility of out–of–network coverage.
POS (Standard Option) – This plan is right for you if you want the comfort and convenience of predictable copays for things like doctor's office visits, with the flexibility of out–of–network coverage at a lower premium than the POS (High Option).
High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) – This plan is right for you if you are willing to pay $2,000 (for you) or $4,000 (for your family) out of pocket first before you are only responsible for paying coinsurance or copays for any additional health care services thereafter. - This plan may qualify for a Health Savings Account.
- Children up to age 26 are covered – even if they no longer attend college and don't live with their parents.
- Need to see a specialist? No problem. You can seek care from any specialist without getting a referral.
