Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer
As chief operating officer, John R. Rodgers is responsible for overseeing all business operations within the organization, including Sales, Product Development, Information Technology, Office of Strategy Management, and Independent Health’s ancillary businesses – Pharmacy Benefit Dimensions®, Nova Healthcare Administrators, Inc.® and Reliance Rx®.
Executive Vice President, General Counsel
John Mineo, executive vice president, general counsel, oversees Legal, Compliance, Facilities and Vendor Management Departments at Independent Health. He is responsible for all legal matters, board of directors’ support, and managing outside legal counsel.
Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
Mark Johnson coordinates all activities related to financial administration, planning, accounting and auditing. He is one of the corporate officers responsible for Independent Health's strategic direction and assists in identifying and developing new business ventures.
Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Organizational Development
Patricia Clabeaux oversees the Human Resources department, including the Learning Center. She is responsible for developing and implementing the organization’s workforce strategy, and for sustaining an engaged workforce and positive organizational culture to enable the company to achieve its strategic goals.
Executive Vice President, Chief Medical Officer
As chief medical officer Thomas J. Foels, M.D., M.M.M., is responsible for the development, implementation and management of medical management initiatives, health care policies and resource utilization.
Executive Vice President, Chief Engagement and Servicing Officer
Jill Syracuse oversees health care services, including utilization management/case management, quality management, behavioral health, health promotion, operations reporting, and medical audit. Jill also leads servicing, membership operations, e-Business, and customers’ online digital experience for more than 400,000 members.
