Our smoking cessation program gives employees the tools and techniques, including group meetings, they need to take the important step to stop smoking and begin leading a healthier life.

Walking

Walking

Through our 8-week program, employees will track their daily steps with an Independent Health-provided pedometer and strive toward reaching 10,000 steps per day. We also provide guidelines on how to set a baseline and subsequent goals to increase their steps each week.

Weight Loss

Weight Loss

This structured, 8-week weight loss challenge helps employees jump start their weight-loss goals. In addition to being assigned a personalized goal based on individual measurements, each participant receives a “Healthy Weight, Healthy Me Guide,” which provides helpful nutrition, fitness, stress management and goal-setting information, and worksheets and trackers to chart their progress.
