Information on Vendor Security Incident
One of Independent Health’s former contracted vendors, Healthplex, Inc./Managed Care of North America (MCNA) experienced a security event that impacted some of our members. This event did not occur at Independent Health or on any of our systems.
Healthplex served as the dental service provider for our Medicare Advantage and State product lines of business until December 31, 2022.
Independent Health takes the protection of our members’ protected health information extremely seriously and we apologize this event has occurred.
