  • EPIC – Learn more about eligibility and how to apply for the Elderly Pharmaceutical Insurance Coverage Program. EPIC helps more than 327,000 income-eligible seniors aged 65 and older to supplement their out-of-pocket Medicare Part D drug plan costs.
  • Get Engaged in Your Health – Independent Health’s Case Management and Health Engagement teams will answer questions and provide information about available resources for chronic conditions, along with information about your Health Care Proxy, sharing your wishes and HIPAA.
    • Our Case Management team of experienced and highly-trained nurses and other care specialists (including behavioral health, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, and certified diabetes educators) are here when you need someone to guide you.
  • Get a Chair Massage – Relieve stress and relax! Get your free 5-minute neck and upper back massage!*
  • Enjoy Good times and Great Oldies with Danny Neaverth from WECK - Meet Danny and take a spin at the prize wheel!*
  • Center for Elder Law and Justice – Learn about Elder Law through the Center for Elder Law & Justice (CELJ). CELJ provides free civil legal services to Western New York seniors and people with disabilities or low income. CELJ services include:

  • Erie County Department of Health – Get your blood pressure screening and learn about available services and resources, like smoking cessation products.*
  • Meals on Wheels for Western New York – Find out about meal delivery services available in your area as well as eligibility and enrollment information.*
  • Erie County Department of Senior Services – Learn about services available to seniors living in Erie County.*
  • Cornell Cooperative Extension for Chautauqua and Niagara Counties, Eat Smart New York – See how nutrition relates to overall health, along with information about heart health. Eat Smart New York is funded by USDA’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), providing nutrition assistance to people with low income.   • M&T Bank – Discover services available to help you with financial planning during retirement.
  • HIICAP – The Niagara County Office for the Aging – Learn about the programs, services and support facilities which help older residents in Niagara County maintain independence. Information will also be available about nutrition education programs and meal programs (including congregate and home delivery).*
  • Family Choice of Western New York – Do you have questions about retirement homes or assisted living facilities? Do you need information about placement for a loved one and are unsure of where to turn? Family Choice of WNY will be available to answer all of your questions on the steps needed for this level of care.*
  • Catholic Charities – Representatives will discuss information about available services, including: care coordination, social day, foster grandparents and SNAP benefits (including application assistance).*
  • Brook Personal Health Companion – A Brook representative will be available to answer questions on this easy-to-use smartphone app that is FREE for Independent Health members. Brook helps members set and achieve health goals by providing expert health advice and positive encouragement through your smartphone. The Brook Personal Health Companion app is just one more way Independent Health helps you get and stay healthy.
