Exciting news about telemedicine benefit

As part of our efforts to help make health care as accessible as possible, Independent Health offers a telemedicine benefit provided through Teladoc®. For most plans, Teladoc will now have a $0 copay upon renewal in 2018. When your employees can’t reach their primary care physician, Teladoc puts them in touch with a U.S. doctor anytime, anywhere. They can use this benefit to discuss common medical issues, such as cold and flu symptoms, bronchitis, allergies, poison ivy, pinkeye, sinus problems, ear infections and more. Consultations are also available by online video. To learn more, click here.
