Telemedicine: Quick relief for your employees
Whenever your employees have a question or concern pertaining to their health and their primary care physician is not available, Independent Health has them covered with Teladoc®. This telemedicine benefit allows your employees to connect with a doctor anywhere by phone, mobile app or online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for a low copay.
How to manage and save on health care costs
Since the average American family spends $4,342* annually on health care, consumers need to be more involved in the management and cost of their health care than ever before. Independent Health has information on its website that can help your employees get the most out of their health care dollar.
New federal rules about employer wellness programs
In May 2016, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) issued final rules* that clarify how the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA) apply to wellness programs offered by employers that request health information from employees and their spouses.
