Independent Health Recognized as a ‘Top Workplace’ in WNY

BUFFALO, N.Y. (June 23, 2014) – Independent Health has been selected as one of “The Buffalo News Top Workplaces” for 2014.

The Top Workplaces program, in its first year, recognizes the best places to work in the Buffalo metro area as determined by employee feedback through a survey conducted by Workplace Dynamics, LLP. Independent Health is ranked third among the five businesses selected as finalists in the large company category and also received a special award for excellent benefits.

This is the second award Independent Health has received honoring its outstanding culture and work environment in as many months. Independent Health was also named one of the “Best Companies to Work for in New York” through a separate, statewide workplace recognition program presented by the New York State Society for Human Resource Management in May.
